The Konbit board recently received the below updates from Jean, an on-the-ground Ajan Sante, regarding their work during the month of January. Jean, along with our other Ajan Sante Raoul & Jeanette, work tirelessly to help those in their local communities.

I hope God blesses all of you who contribute to the team and support Haitian health workers in matters of human health. I am very happy to share this information with you. For this month, we have carried out several screening sessions in the community. In these screening sessions, we have measured children’s arm circumference, weight, and height to detect malnutrition in their homes. We have held community posts, community meetings, and we have furthered awareness and education.

This month we visited 187 families. We saw 721 people in total: 338 woman, 245 children, and 138 men. They have asked when the next mobile clinic will be because the medicines there are of good quality.
